Import from Other Apps (Android)

Use Android share actions to send supported audio files from other apps into CortexaNote for transcription and summary.

CortexaNote supports importing audio from third-party apps. Common sources include:

Supported apps

Import from Android recorder or files

  1. Open the app that contains the recording.
  2. Select the audio file, then tap Share, Open with, or Send to.
  3. Choose CortexaNote from the Android share sheet.
  4. Keep CortexaNote open until the import completes.

Import from other apps

  1. In the third-party app, find the audio file and tap “Share”, “Open in another app”, or “Open with”.
  2. Choose “CortexaNote” from the share sheet.

After import, CortexaNote automatically transcribes the audio and generates a summary.
