The Recorder is designed with privacy at its core. It only records when actively initiated by the clinician, and a visible LED indicates when recording is in progress so everyone in the room can see the device is on. Audio is encrypted at rest on the device and automatically removed after it syncs to the CortexaNote platform. The Recorder only pairs with the clinician's signed-in device over an encrypted wireless connection. Clinicians remain responsible for obtaining all required recording consents under the law in their jurisdiction.
